(IP)- Venezuela's president says the country supports the Palestinian people and the aid will be sent.

Iran PressAmerica: Nicolás Maduro also said that Venezuela is against the genocide of the Palestinian people.

Earlier in August, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) criticized the silence of the world against the Zionist regime's genocide against the Palestinians.

Pointing to the stance of Caracas, the party emphasized defending the Palestinian cause against U.S. imperialism.

During the meeting between Venezuelan officials and the high-ranking delegation of Palestine, Diosdado Cabello, the Vice-President of the PSUV, said: "We are soldiers of the Palestinian struggle and we are always ready to support them."

Cabello said that the world has turned a blind eye as if nothing has happened.

From the Presidency of Hugo Chávez in 1998, relations between Palestine and Venezuela have developed to such an extent that Nicolás Maduro, ended his diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime in January 2009, and weeks later, he established diplomatic relations with Palestine.

Upon the third day of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, Israeli officials ordered the water, food, and electricity cut.

Germany also announced the temporary suspension of financial aid for Palestine.

In line with Berlin's stance, the Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg announced that Vienna would suspend its aid to Palestine as well.
