Iran Press/Asia: In his congratulatory message on Tuesday, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed certainty that the two countries would continue with their joint efforts to ensure the progress of their nations.
Referring to years-long high exchanges of delegations between the two countries, he said that the multifaceted relations between Iran and Uzbekistan are based on long-standing friendship and the principles of mutual respect and benefit.
Earlier on March 6, 2024, During the meeting of Iran and Uzbekistan high-ranking officials in Tehran, the two countries advanced transport and transit ties by forming a joint transport committee, drafting a transit roadmap, and a comprehensive transport MoU between the two countries.
