Yemen (IP) - The Spokesman of Yemen's Army announced that the Yemeni forces targeted a US vessel in the Red Sea on Wednesday.

Iran Press/ West Asia: General Yahya al-Sari said that the Yemeni army fired multiple missiles and drones at a US vessel in the Red Sea, which supported the Israeli regime.

General al-Sari said that the missiles targeted the American vessel was a primary response to the US forces' attack on the Yemeni naval forces.

He said that the US vessel was hit during a joint operation through the air, sea, and missile unit of the Yemeni army.

The spokesman of the Yemeni army would hit the Israeli targets until the war and blockade on the Gaza Strip are ended.

He reiterated that the Red Sea is secure for all of the vessels except those that are going to the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.

The US claimed that it formed a marine coalition to counter the Yemeni operations in the Red Sea; yet France, Spain, and Italy withdrew from the coalition and refused to deliver their warships to the US command.
