US President Joe Biden acknowledged that the ongoing US and allied strikes targeting Yemen have not achieved the desired goal in the Red Sea, but he said they would continue.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In a statement on social media platform X, US Central Command said its forces conducted strikes on Yemen, on the fourth day of US strikes in less than a week.

US President Joe Biden said Thursday that US military strikes against Yemen will continue, but acknowledges that the American and British bombardment has yet to stop the Yemenis' resistance in the Red Sea. Biden said the US would continue the strikes.

The United States and the United Kingdom launched airstrikes on Yemen last Friday following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council.

These aggressions against Yemen were carried out after the Yemeni army targeted ships bound for the occupied territories in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait in the past weeks in support of the resistance of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Yemen's Ansarallah said their attacks aim to pressure Israel to halt its deadly war on the Gaza Strip, which has killed at least 24,000 victims since an Oct. 7 cross-border offensive by the Palestinian group, Hamas. About 1,200 were killed in Hamas' attack and hundreds more were taken back to Gaza as hostages.
