Tehran (IP) - US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, without mentioning the crimes of the terrorist and takfiri group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in Syria, attributed the group's recent attack on Syrian cities to Bashar al-Assad himself.

Iran Press/America: He claimed that Bashar al-Assad's refusal to participate in any political process opened the way for Tahrir al-Sham forces to carry out the recent attacks.

Blinken considered the terrorist attack on Syrian soil a blow to the resistance front, but at the same time called it necessary to prevent the revival of ISIS.

He also called for strengthening the ceasefire in Lebanon to allow civilians to return to their homes. 204
