Iran Press/ Iran news: It was on September 18 that the Lebanese media reported the occurrence of several explosions in different areas of the country. After that, it was found that the radio communication devices (pagers) used by Lebanese citizens exploded at the same time, killing at least 12 people and injuring 2,800 people.
Nasser Kanaani said in response to IranPress correspondent's question about the reaction of Iran to the US support for the criminal act that the mass explosion of pagers that are considered communication devices that led to the mass killing of the Lebanese people is a terrorist act that is internationally prosecutable.
While many countries have condemned the recent explosions in Beirut and the injury of the Iranian Ambassador, the spokesman of the US State Department asked Iran in his latest comments not to take any measures to increase tension in the region.
Kanaani said that the US government once again showed that it stands behind all the crimes of the Israeli regime against the people of Palestine and Lebanon and that despite its advocacy of human rights, it seeks to disturb the stability and security of the West Asian region through the escalation of tensions.
