Iran Press/ West Asia: Lebanon's Hezbollah in its statement, while condemning US-UK attacks on Yemen, considered the actions of Washington and London clear aggression and violation of international law.
"Washington and London attacks on Yemen is an aggression on security, sovereignty, and Yemeni people free seeking and honorable manner who support oppressed people of Palestine with all their might, courage and responsibility using all available tools and facilities to do their best to break the siege imposed on people of Gaza," Lebanon's Hezbollah's statement read out.
Hezbollah added that the American attacks on Yemen once again emphasized that the United States is a full partner in the tragedies and the Zionist enemy's massacre against the oppressed people of Gaza and the region and that the United States supports this criminal regime and provides facilities and tools for killing and bloodshed. The regime is trying to cover up its attacks and crimes and to attack anyone who stands by the oppressed Palestinian people throughout the region.
Hezbollah also emphasized in its statement that this attack does not weaken the Yemeni people's support for the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza, but rather their strength and determination to confront the US and its allies and continue to support the Palestinian people and realize their rights and administer justice.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also considered the attack on Yemen by the United States and Britain as an indication of their decision to expand the conflict and emphasized that this attack would have consequences for them.
Sami Abu Zohri, one of the leaders of this Palestinian movement, said that the attack by the United States and Britain on the positions of the Yemeni army, which is standing by the oppressed people of Gaza, is an attack on the Islamic nation and incitement to this nation, and it shows that the countries that attacked Yemen decided to spread the conflict outside of Gaza and this will have consequences.
The United States and the United Kingdom launched attacks against Ansarullah's positions in Yemen on Thursday night local time (USA) following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council. News sources reported on Friday morning that the Yemeni National Army has targeted a target owned by the United States in the Red Sea in response to the US and British air aggression against the war-torn country.
The United States and the United Kingdom announced the attack on more than 12 places in Yemen on Friday morning.
After the American and British attacks, Yemeni Ansarallah forces launched ballistic missiles towards positions in the Red Sea.
Mohammed Abdussalam, the spokesman of the Ansarullah movement announced that America and Britain committed stupidity by invading Yemen and if they think that they can dissuade Yemen from supporting Palestine and Gaza with this action, they are wrong.
