An official of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) warned about the continued attacks of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip and added Death is the only certain fate of the people in Gaza, which have no escape route due to the relentless crimes of this regime.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Louise Wateridge, the spokesperson of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) said: "In the last 2 months, there has been a humanitarian crisis, fear of death and the spread of disease during the war that the Zionist regime has waged in the Gaza Strip, a great disaster has occurred.

Regarding the Al-Nusirat camp located in the center of the Gaza strip, which is one of the air targets of the occupying forces of Quds, Watridge emphasized: "No place in Al-Nusirat is safe and the conditions are very uncomfortable."

Emphasizing that not even a school in the Gaza Strip is considered a safe place, the UNRWA spokesperson added: "More people have been forced to move in this strip and apparently they are under persecution by the Israeli forces."

The Urban Defense Organization in the Gaza Strip recently announced the targeting of the "Mustafa Hafez" school located in the west of Gaza City and the martyrdom of at least 12 people as a result of the Israeli regime's cruelty.

Earlier, the United Nations announced in a report that more than half of the schools in Gaza, which have been turned into shelters to shelter Palestinian refugees and civilians in the past 10 months after the start of the Gaza war, have been deliberately and directly targeted by attacks.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health recently announced that since October 7, 2023, more than 40,220 Palestinian citizens have been martyred in the Gaza Strip.
