Sultan al-Samei told Iran Press in an exclusive interview that the Islamic groups, particularly the Resistance Axis, have been empowered thanks to the leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei.
Al-Samei noted that the Resistance Axis has turned into a strong front today thanks to the unity of Muslims such that no other power in the world could ignore the role and power of the front.
The Axis of Resistance has been influenced by the Islamic Republic of Iran's approach and policy, and the Axis increases its power every year, the Yemeni top political official said.
He also condemned the desecration of the Quran in the West and stated that Islam is being spread in European countries despite the desecration of the Quran in some Western countries.
On the initiative of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rabi I 12 (Sunni tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) to Rabi I 17 (Shia tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) has been named the Week of Unity.
