Iran Press/West Asia: The Washington Post reported based on its military sources that nearly 4-5 weeks before the HTS offensive against the Government, the Ukrainian intelligence organization delivered 20 experienced drone operators and about 150 FPV drones to the militant group headquarters in Syria's Idlib for the first time.

Although the aid of the Ukrainian military played a minor role in the HTS victory it is seen as an important element of Ukraine's military strategy of conducting covert attacks against Russia in Syria.
