Iran (IP) - The new ambassador of Turkiye in Tehran said that the sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran are unfair and asked the international community to take necessary measures to remove these sanctions.

The new ambassador of Turkiye in Tehran, Hicabi Kırlangıç added: "The cruel sanctions that have been applied to put pressure on Iran also threaten us and do not allow us to do business more easily."

Turkish ambassador to Tehran expressed hope that the existing obstacles to the development of trade exchanges between Iran and Turkiye will be removed in the future.

He continued: "Today, Iran and Turkiye are two important and influential countries in the region and the world, and they have a lot to say in the region."

Hicabi Kırlangıç added: "Iran and Turkiye have always taken positive steps for peace and the interests of the region, and it is hoped that these steps will be taken in the future, too."

He, who is educated in Persian language and literature, stated that the use of cultural and literary commonalities as a rich heritage will be useful for improving the common future of both sides and neighboring countries.

Turikish ambassador added: "The language of culture and literature is more permanent than the language of politics and cultural language should be used to strengthen friendship."

Hicabi Kırlangıç said: "During the history, there have been issues and problems between the two countries, but with the dialogue and good will of the two sides, they have been resolved quickly, and the statesmen of Iran and Turkey have always been in contact with each other to resolve their issues." 219
