Iran Press/Iran news: Larijani talked to the reporters on Wednesday evening about the importance of taking part in the upcoming elections, adding, "If we want to succeed in confrontation with the Americans and the pressures they put on Iran, we need to show them that the Iranian nation is serious about participating in elections, which empowers us in resolving the issue."
Larijani further noted, "Now the national security of the country is our main issue. Voting can make enemies realize that the strategy of economic pressure and the political adventurous which have been chosen by them (enemies) to confront the Iranian nation is incorrect, and they should change the rails."
"I think Friday's election has two major advantages for the country. It preserves both national dignity and contributes to the country's efficiency," Parliament speaker added.
