(IP)- Three Iranian prisoners in Qatar, who were released earlier, returned to Iran on their boats.

Iran PressMiddle East: The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar Hamidreza Dehghani announced on Instagram that three Iranian prisoners in Doha returned to the country.

He added that after lifting the arrest of the boats, those three detainees returned to the country.

Dehghani also thanked his colleagues and officials in Qatar, saying they were working hard to release the rest of the detainees and prisoners, especially those who are imprisoned in Ras Laffan.

Last week, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Doha announced the release of the three Iranian prisoners in Qatar.

He stated that with the efforts of his colleagues at the embassy and the assistance of the Qatari officials, the release warrant for three detainees was issued.

Speaking of the reason for the detainees' arrest, Dehghani stated that they were arrested because they had entered the waters of Qatar by mistake.
