Thousands of Palestine supporters gathered in Karachi on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Iran Press/Asia: The rally, organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami party, served as a platform for expressing solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people while condemning the crimes of the Israeli regime and its backers, including the United States.

Demonstrators held images of martyred resistance leaders and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans against the U.S. and Israel. Voices echoed with calls of "Labbaik ya Aqsa" and "Labbaik ya Gaza," showcasing their unity with resistance fighters, particularly the people of Palestine and Lebanon. Senior political leaders, including representatives from the Pakistan Peoples Party and the MWM, also attended the gathering.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, delivered the keynote speech, condemning the global silence over Israel's actions and the passive stance of international organizations in stopping the regime’s aggression. He praised the heroic struggle of the Palestinians against Israeli occupation and highlighted Iran’s missile operations against Israel, calling for a unified response from Muslim nations against the escalating Zionist adventurism in the region.

Rehman emphasized that the U.S. supplies Israel's needs for the genocide of Palestinians, asserting that America is complicit in this mass slaughter. He urged Islamic and Arab leaders to recognize that friendship and normalization of relations with Israel would bring no benefits to their governments or peoples, as the Zionists aim to invade and seize Islamic lands.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has launched a devastating war against the residents of Gaza, resulting in massive destruction and a deadly famine. Reports indicate that thousands of Palestinians, predominantly women and children, have been killed or injured.

Ignoring the international community and disregarding United Nations Security Council resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire, Israel continues its genocidal actions against Gaza's inhabitants.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Sunday that 41,870 Palestinian citizens have been martyred as a result of the Israeli regime's warfare against the region's residents.
