The Secretary-General of the Ahl Al-Bayt World Assembly considered Germany's closure of the Islamic Center Hamburg (IZH) as a breach of international treaties, human rights, and freedom of religion, expression, and assembly, stating: "The accusation of promoting extremism to the Hamburg Islamic Center is baseless."

Iran PressEurope: Referring to the anti-human rights action of the German police special forces in attacking the holy and religious places of Muslims, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani stated: "We strongly condemn the action against religious freedoms and fundamental human rights."

He urged German authorities to reverse the ban on the center. Ramezani also asked German authorities to take urgent action to protect the rights of Muslims and prevent the repetition of such illegal moves, warning that they could lead to violence and Islamophobia in Europe and worldwide.

He further added: "Negation of racism and Islamophobia prevents the abuse of extremist and violent groups and the increase of attacks on Muslims." Ramezani expected international authorities, including the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, to act decisively to protect human rights globally, including in Germany.
