In an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Abuja, regarding the current situation in the Middle East, General Gololo commended President Bola Ahmad Tinubu who called for serious action from the world to stop Israeli genocide against Palestine by declaring independent Palestine with Quds as its capital.
Gololo added: "Israelis came to Palestine as visitors but they later occupied almost the whole land. They keep killing everyone. I'm a retired military officer. When it comes to war, you don't engage hospitals, you don't engage mosques, you don't engage church. You don't engage in school, you don't kill children. But Israel is doing all these, and they are killing even pregnant women."
The retired Nigerian General noted: "As far as I am concerned, this is genocide. This has never happened in the world."
General Gololo who is the chieftain of Nigeria's ruling party, APC, questioned the hypocrisy of the United States and its Western allies who have been advocating against the Russia-Ukraine conflict and turned blind eyes on the Israeli genocide, "Why is the United States and its allies are talking on Ukraine but turned blind on Gaza? What is the difference between the blood of the people of Ukraine and that of Palestinians? They are all humans."
He added: "They provide Ukraine with weapons to fight Russia but why don't they also give Palestinians weapons to defend themselves from Israel? They are calling Palestinians terrorists.
