Iran Press/Asia: In a recent attack reported in the Kalat district of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, armed terrorists targeted a Pakistani army checkpoint, resulting in casualties. According to Iran Press News Agency from Islamabad, citing the Dawn News website, 22 individuals were either killed or injured in the incident.
According to news sources, 7 Pakistani military personnel were killed and 15 others injured in this terrorist attack.
Media sources reported that six terrorists were killed in this armed clash, and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
This is the second major terrorist attack by this group in Pakistan's Balochistan province in less than 10 days. Last week, the group also claimed responsibility for an explosion on the Quetta railway, which resulted in at least 70 casualties.
