Iran Press/ Iran news: Attending the event, the CEO of Cinema Organization of Iran Mohammad Khazaee announced the request of 10 countries from Iran to carry out joint cinema production projects.
The head of international affairs of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, Raed Faridzadeh said that the meeting is set to launch cooperation with regional countries' cinematographic organizations.
He said that in 6 paragraphs, a statement was signed to expand these countries' film cooperation.
He continued: The 6 paragraphs mentioned in the statement are general terms for expanding multilateral cooperation in the field of joint productions, facilitating the screening of works in regional countries, creating a regional joint support fund for cinema activists, expanding cooperation in the relevant technology development, and special support for regional works in the festivals of each member.
Also, as the other keynote speaker, the CEO of Cinema Organization of Iran Mohammad Khazaee said that one of the achievements of this edition of the festival was the joint meeting of different countries.
He noted that these meetings were aimed at greater convergence and dealing with the issue of cinema.
Cinema is a universal language, he emphasized, adding that cinema can solve the concerns of different countries, and can bring nations together.
"Until today, almost 10 countries have asked us for joint production, which we consider as good amen," Khazaee said.
