Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the meeting Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s Parliament Speaker said that what is going on in the Gaza Strip is a cause of deep concern and shame for humanity and a double injustice to a nation that has been deprived of all its human rights due to occupation for more than seven decades.
He added: "No awakened conscience can ignore the crimes being committed by the Israeli regime's war machine in Gaza and its terrible effects on the peace, security of the region and the world."
Ghalibaf emphasized: "The issue of Palestine and the 75-year and the displacement of the original residents and the suppression and humiliation of the Palestinians living in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip is not an issue related to Palestine and the fake Israeli regime or an issue between Muslims and the Israeli regime, but is an insult to the entire humanity and the international community."
He added: "No practical policy of the Israeli regime can be observed and predicted to end the long-term conflict and stop the violence permanently, because this fake regime has been based on aggression and conflict in the region."
Ghalibaf emphasized: "Another bitter reality of our time is the useless relying on the role of the United Nations in solving the problem of aggression and occupation in Palestine."
The inaction of the Security Council, the complete disregard of the United Nations to carry out fundamental economic reforms and the implementation of serious development policies in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the lack of financial support from Western countries to Palestine, in contrast to their full support for the Zionist regime, are among the reasons to make Palestinians disappointed,he stated.
Ghalibaf pointed out that the meeting, while firmly condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime and renewing its serious support for the Palestinian cause, adopted a unified position and took effective and coordinated practical steps to activate all the levers of pressure against the Zionists, including extensive political and economic sanctions.
He went on to say that forming a fact-finding committee to deal with the recent crimes committed by the Zionists in the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian areas, establishing a legal mechanism to document the crimes of the Zionists in Gaza for further exploitation at the level of international courts, forcing the regime fake Israel to immediately stop the attacks on the Gaza Strip and the killing of civilians, arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and finally to dissuade the Zionist regime from making repeated claims of existential threat by the regime against the Palestinians, are among the aims of this meeting.
Iran’s Parliament speaker said: "Iranian and their leadrship are fully prepared for any joint action of the Islamic governments against the anti-human crimes of the Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Palestine, as well as supporting the Palestinian cause."
