Tehran (IP) - A memorial ceremony was held on Friday, for Afghan martyrs who lost their lives in the Kerman twin terror bombing.

Iran PressIran news:  The ceremony was held at the mausoleum of the Late Founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini with many Afghan nationals in attendance.

Afghan nationals were martyred and 19 others were wounded in terrorist attacks near General Soleimani’s burial site in Kerman on January 3, 2024.

Kerman terrorist attacks left 91 people martyred so far, according to the Emergency Medical Services in Iran.

Attending the event, the Director General of the Iranian Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants' Affairs condemned the Kerman twin terror attack and said: Those who were martyred are the followers of Martyr General Qassem Soleimani's path.

Asghar Boloukian stressed that the attack indicates how Israel is miserable by attacking innocent people.

He said that the attack would not be left unanswered.

The terrorist bombings, which were claimed by the US-backed ISIS Takfiri group, were carried out near the burial site of Iran’s late anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani during a ceremony marking the fourth anniversary of his martyrdom.
