Tehran(IP): The Foreign Ministries of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkey considered it necessary to strengthen brotherly relations between the countries of the region regarding the events of recent days.

Iran PressAsia:  According to Iran Press, Hakan Fidan, in a telephone conversation with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran referring to some issues of recent days, considered it necessary to maintain and strengthen brotherly relations between the countries of the region.

The head of Iran's diplomatic service also emphasized the unchanging approach of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand relations with neighboring countries in a bid to secure the interests of the people of the region and stated: "The security of the countries of the region is linked and the joint and decisive fight against terrorist groups is the common responsibility of all countries of the region."

In this conversation, the Foreign Minister of Turkey emphasized his country's readiness to host the President of Iran shortly to hold the 8th meeting of the Supreme Council of Economic Cooperation between the two countries.

Amir-Abdollahian also reminded the Islamic Republic of Iran government's firm determination to advance relations with Turkey and hoped that President Raisi's visit to Ankara shortly would play an effective role in increasing relations, especially in the economic and commercial dimension, and improving regional security.
