Iran Press/ West Asia: In an end-to-end game, Ali grabbed the winner for Qatar in the 82nd minute while Iran lost Shojae Khalilzadeh to a late red card in stoppage time as Iran coach Amir Ghalenoei lost for the first time since he took charge last year.
The win sets up an exciting showdown against Jordan, who earlier on Tuesday, made history by defeating South Korea 2-0 in the semi-finals. Yazan Al-Naimat and Mousa Al-Tamari were the heroes for Jordan, each scoring a goal to propel their team to the final.
