Iran Press/ Iran news: TMC was inaugurated on the 8th week of the above weekly project.
The Electricity Industry Monitoring Center was kicked off on Tuesday morning with the aim of online monitoring of the subsidiary's strategic indicators and monitoring of electricity consumption 24/7 with Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian in attendance.
Moreover, another project was inaugurated where the production capacity of the Shahroud Power Plant gas unit increased from 162 MW to 183 MW.
Ardakanian stated that the result of increasing the competence of Shahroud Power Plant by 21 megawatts is equal to meeting the needs of 80,000 people during the possible planned shutdown.
During this ceremony, the Energy Minister referred to the last year's projects, saying: "227 projects with the value of 33000 billion Tomans have been completed, and we plan to terminate 250 more projects in water, electricity, and water waste areas in the upcoming year."
Ardakanian went on to say that in the last eight weeks, a total of 19 projects valued 9000 billion Tomans, including 4 power plants with the capacity of 65 MW,3 storage dams, 22000 irrigation networks as well as 4 sewage treatment systems have been inaugurated.
"The first week of summer is named 'Water Management Week' since we plan to create correct water and electricity consumption habits at the beginning of the year's hottest season," he highlighted.
Pointing to this year's two sections of 'Constructions' and 'Mechanisms', he highlighted: "We pay for networks, sewage treatment systems, etc., but mechanisms are the most important parts that can be an easy platform for construction."
"During this year which has been called 'Surge in Production' by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the power industry will create a new path concerning the country's development," Ardakanian noted. 104/207
