Iran Press/ Iran News: According to Mirakbar Razavi, the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, all the passengers and crew of this flight are in perfect health and they have all been transferred to the terminal. Airline experts are on the runway and are investigating the causes of this accident.
He added: "Due to a malfunction in the aircraft's braking system, the aircraft ran off the runway during takeoff, and during this incident, Mehrabad Airport's 29R runway was closed for a while."
Razavi explained: "After the Mehrabad Airport's 29R runway became non-operational, two flights were forced to land at Imam Khomeini airport, but with the efforts of the flight crews, it has now been reopened."
Jafarzadeh, the director of public relations of Taban Airlines, said that the incident happened to the Boeing MD 88 plane flying from Tehran to Mashhad.
