Iran Press/ Middle East: The Committee for the Syrian Presidential Election announced that the counting of votes began immediately at the same polling stations.
The committee also stated that no violations of the election law were reported at polling stations.
Following the collection of ballot papers, the High Electoral Commission is expected to announce the results of the Syrian presidential election today (Thursday).
