Iran Press/West Asia: According to reports from the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), government forces regained control over Karnaz, Tal Meleh, Jalma, Jubbayn, Hayalin, and Sheikh Hadid, effectively pushing back the Jabhat al-Nusra extremist group, which had launched a large-scale offensive on November 27 targeting northern governorates including Aleppo and Idlib.
In a coordinated effort with Russian aerospace forces, the Syrian military has reportedly eliminated at least 100 militants in recent days through targeted airstrikes on militant positions across Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo.
The Syrian military's operations have intensified following a rapid advance by armed opposition groups that captured significant territory in Aleppo and threatened to encroach further into Hama.
