Tehran (IP) - Iran's Passive Defense Organization Chief announces the preparation of a suitable model to deal with cyber threats.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the 5th National Conference on Urban Defense, Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali stated: "We examined the new threats affecting urban areas. The attack on Tehran Municipality and other infrastructure was investigated, and patterns were prepared to deal with them."

Referring to filtering Instagram and WhatsApp, Jalali further said that platforms used as social networks usually have to carry out their actions within the framework of the laws and regulations of the countries. The main issue and priority everyone should be committed to is maintaining safety for the people.

He added: "Security plays an infrastructural role in all areas, and in the absence of security, economy, culture, and the political and social atmosphere are meaningless. These two platforms have proven in the past that they are not subject to the laws of the Islamic Republic."
