Balochistan (IP) - At least six people were injured on Friday in a blast at a political rally of the Jamaat-e-Islami Party in the Zhob district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province.

Iran PressAsia: A suicide bomber attempted to kill Jamaat-e-Islami head Siraj-ul-Haq in Zhob Balochistan.

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary of Information Qaiser Sharif told Iran Press that the Jamaat leader is completely safe in the suicide attack while seven workers of Jamaat-e-Islami were injured in the blast.  

Qaiser Sharif further said that the vehicles in the convoy were damaged in the explosion.

The suicide bomber blew himself up near Sirajul Haq's car when the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami was going to attend a meeting in Zhob. Siraj-ul-Haq was going to the meeting place in the form of a caravan.
