Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Guardian Council announced that "Free trade agreement between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union was not recognized against the constitution.

Iran Press/Iran news: Hadi Tahan-Nazif told Iran Press in his weekly press conference on Saturday that the bill between Iran and EEU has been approved with the aim of strengthening friendship and multilateral cooperation between the two sides. 

Back on May 30, Russia’s State Duma (lower house of the parliament) ratified the free trade agreement between Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) members and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The agreement lays down major guidelines in trade between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on the one hand, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the other hand, in line with guidelines from the World Trade Organization (WTO).
