Iran Press/Iran news: In a press conference held at the interior ministry Seyyed Salman Samani, the interior ministry spokesman answered a question on whether the recent electoral reforms would be challenging or cause difficulties in the upcoming parliamentary election by saying: "We have organized and prepared ourselves and we have are ready and have taken the necessary steps for the approaching parliamentary election based on the current legislation (passed by parliament) which is in force."
Seyyed Salman Samani added: "Everything is at hand for the smooth running of an election without any problems."
The interior ministry spokesman continued by saying: "We have no problems at the moment, and even if new legislation is introduced and the law governing elections changes, the interior ministry is ready to implement the new laws, whatever they may be."
