Iran Press/ Iran news: Local media and news resources in Tehran reported that the explosions were a result of Iranian air defense systems actively engaging with hostile targets over the Iranian capital.
The public relations office for the air defense of Tehran Province announced that the explosions heard around Tehran were a response to an attempted attack by the Zionist regime on three locations outside the city. The details are currently under investigation.
Around 2:15 AM, several explosions were reported in the western part of Tehran. Following this, the Israeli Occupation Army (IOF) confirmed an attack on certain military targets in Iran.
Despite the explosions and ُsome unverified and invalid video clips on social media, the situation in Tehran remains normal.
