Islamabad (IP) - On the occasion of the blessed birth of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH), Mother's Day and Women's Day was celebrated in Lahore, and Pakistani women expressed solidarity with the oppressed mothers and women of Gaza during the ceremony.

Iran Press/Asia: According to Iran Press News Agency from Islamabad, the ceremony, titled "Mothers of Gaza Follow the Path of Hazrat Zahra," was hosted by the Islamic Center of the Urwa Al-Wathqi Society in Lahore, with the widespread presence of Pakistani women and social activists. The speakers explained the prominent role of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) as a perfect model of motherhood, wifehood, and resistance.

Messages from Palestinian mothers and women were read by the program participants, which stirred the emotions of the attendees; the participants declared their support for the oppressed Palestinian nation with slogans and emphasized the need for Muslim unity in defending their rights.

Referring to the oppression of Palestinian mothers and daughters in Gaza, they expressed their solidarity with these brave and resilient women and emphasized that the personality of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) and her character can inspire women of the Islamic community to face the various challenges of today's world.

The gathering, which began with the recitation of the Quran and the praise of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH), ended with the reading of a statement in which Islamic communities were called upon to take practical measures to support the Palestinian people, especially the women and children of Gaza.
