President has called Sistan and Baluchistan an integral part of Iran, saying, "The situation of Sistan and Baluchistan province today is definitely very different from before the Islamic Revolution."

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi made the remarks on Thursday evening in a cordial meeting with the heads of clans and trustees of Sistan and Baluchistan Province during his one-day trip to the province.

Raisi described the unity and cohesion among the Islamic branches and religions of the province as exemplary and said, "In today's situation, the enemy's strategy is to create division and discord, the elders and heads of the clans of this province view unity and cohesion as a strategy".

Raisi considered the border of Sistan and Baluchistan province, despite some efforts to make this region insecure, not a threat, but an opportunity, and stated, "I believe that there are the best and most reliable businesspeople in this province who can boost trade with the neighbors".

The President also considered the stability of security in this province as one of the other blessings of God and the fruit of the martyrs' efforts and sacrifices, and emphasized, "Efforts should be made to prevent some profit-seekers from disrupting the security of this province with actions such as organized crimes".

The Iranian president said, "During the events of last year, people wanted to disturb the security of the society and disrupt the order by creating disturbances, and these actions are not acceptable to any citizen".

Raisi clarified, "Immediately after the bitter incident of the Friday prayer, I assigned the Minister of the Interior to travel to this province to identify and deal with the perpetrators of this incident and to comfort those who were oppressed in this incident".

In another part of his speech, the President referred to the measures taken to remove deprivation and promote the development of the province, calling Sistan and Baluchistan an integral part of Iran, and clarified, "The situation of Sistan and Baluchistan province today is definitely very different from before the Islamic Revolution and even the early years after the victory of the revolution".

Prioritizing the construction of health and treatment centers, following up on the construction of boarding schools, as well as investigating the problems of some nationalized private lands in this province, were among the President's emphasis on the demands of some of the guests present in this meeting.
