Iran Press/ Iran news: These days, after mid-April, Shiraz becomes more beautiful and fragrant with the opening of orange blossoms, the peak of which reaches May. The perfume can be smelled from Hafezieh, Narenjestan-e Ghavam, and Eram Garden among a myriad of tourist sites in the city.
People of Iran as well as other tourists love the orange blossoms for their perfume mingled with the Iranian traditional music and Hafez poems. The blossoms dried are one of the city's souvenirs besides Masghati and Halva sweets.
Shiraz's historical and cultural sites are the main tourism hubs in southern Iran.
