Iran Press/ Iran news: Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia. This city is located on both sides of the Matkvari river and a population of about 1.5 million lives in it.
Tbilisi was founded in the 5th century AD by Vakhtang I, the king of ancient Georgia, and because of its hot springs, it means warm; It is named after the hot springs of Tbilisi.
Director-General of the Civil Aviation Department in Fars Province, Gholamreza Karim-Aghaie, made the announcement on Sunday. He highlighted that the first flight was done on Friday, July 8.
Karim-Aghaie explained that Shiraz-Tbilisi flights are carried out once a week and are scheduled for Friday.
Tbilisi is located in the southeast of Europe, the location of Tbilisi, i.e. being on the east-west route, makes this city the connecting point of various competing empires and today ensures its position as an important route for the world's energy and commercial projects.
