Bauchi (IP) - In some towns of Nigeria on Tuesday, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky invited parents and relatives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the course of resistance to an iftar.

Iran PressIran News: Some of the martyrs of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria were killed while holding peaceful Quds Day rallies, and Ashura rituals while hundreds attained martyrdom during the Zaria massacre in December 2015 by the Nigerian Army under the former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Yusuf Tanko Buratai. 

In a short speech during the iftar in Bauchi State, the representative of Sheikh Zakzaky in Bauchi, Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Yashi stressed the need for the members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria to stay firmly on the path of resistance against world arrogant countries and their puppets.

He also expressed gratitude to Sheikh Zakzaky for organizing the iftar for the martyrs' relatives. 

One of the parents of the martyrs, Abdulqadir Galadi told Iran Press:  "Well, this gesture by the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria is a good gesture towards carrying along the relatives of the victims of the massacre by President Buhari administration.

"We as you can see around are parents of the martyrs that were involved either in Zaria massacre or in Abuja. So, we believe that the leadership of the Islamic Movement is really concerned on the plight of those that missed their relatives in the struggle towards the liberation of Palestine," He added.
