China (IP) - The Iranian pavilion kicked off its work in the 7th edition of China's International Import Exhibition (CIIE) with the presence of more than 30 Iranian companies in the fields of petrochemicals, minerals, agricultural products, and knowledge-based companies.

Iran PressAsia: This is the 6th consecutive year that Iran has participated in the international event with the space dedicated to the Iranian companies being increased over 40 percent. 

China is the first destination of Iran's exports, yet, Iranian companies, especially knowledge-based companies, are looking for the development of the market.

As the Head of Iran's Trade Development Organization says the country annually exports 14 billion dollars of non-oil goods to China, the major part of it includes petrochemical products, minerals, agricultural products, handicrafts, and food. 

The agreement was signed for the export of the first Iranian nano-medicine to China.

Sarkar, the head of the Center for Innovative Technologies of the Iranian President's Office for Science and Technology, three more contracts will be signed for the export of Iran-made medicines to China in the near future.

CIIE is one of the Chinese three big exhibitions in the import and export field which is underway with the presence of 100 countries for 5 days from November 7 to 12. 

The 7th edition of the exhibition is to work as it aims to further support the less-developed countries to get access to the Chinese vast market and merge into the world economy.
