Sarajevo (IP) - In a ceremony, the exquisite manuscript of Divan Hafez, restored by Astan Quds Razavi in the holy city of Mashhad, was unveiled in Sarajevo.

Iran Press/Europe: According to the Iran Press news agency from Sarajevo, the exquisite manuscript of Divan Hafez, which has been kept for centuries in the Gazi Husrev-Bey Library in Sarajevo, was unveiled after restoration in a ceremony attended by the Iranian ambassador, the head of Islamic society of Bosnia and Herzegovina, cultural figures and media members.

This valuable copy was restored with the cooperation of the Iranian Cultural Consultancy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gazi Husrev-Bey Library in Sarajevo, and Astan Quds Razavi in Mashhad.

The restoration of this four-hundred-year-old miniature copy of Divan Hafez, which was under the protection of UNESCO, is considered a turning point in the cultural and heritage cooperation between the two countries.

More than six hundred manuscripts of Persian literature and famous poets of Iran are kept in the Gazi Husrev-Bey Library in Sarajevo.

This version will be exposed to Iranian literature enthusiasts for three days. 204
