Iran Press/Iran News: Salehi who addressed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) General Assembly, noted that Iran was ready to work with the international community to restore diplomacy and multilateralism to international relations.
Referring to the very serious and unique conditions caused by the coronavirus, he added: In an environment where almost all members of the IAEA have suffered from the disease, the international community cannot see the destruction of another pillar of multilateralism, which is the structure of the United Nations.
Salehi said that maintaining the Iran Nuclear Deal is the common responsibility of all members of the international community, adding: In this regard, the responsibility of the European Union, especially the three European countries as members of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is of great importance and among other things, they must fulfill their obligations fully and effectively.
Therefore, this agreement will be maintained only when its provisions are implemented in a balanced way by all parties involved, Salehi stressed.
As a result, Iran has no choice but to take a step-by-step approach in implementing Articles 26 and 36 of JCPOA to restore the lost balance of the agreement, he added.
