Salami: IRGC ready to help areas hit by Flooding

The Commander of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami in his visit to the flood-hit areas of Southern city of Jask in Hormozgan Province stressed IRGC will help those who need, with all its power.

Iran Press/Iran news: The IRGC top Commander said that IRCG is going to reach out to help those who have been affected by the recent flood using all its potentials and power and facilities to reconstruct flood-hit villages.

Salami also stressed that the necessary measures should be taken as fast as possible so that some of these villages to be relocated to a new place.

Iran's top IRGC official went on to express the hope that the government allocates monetary help for the reconstruction of the destroyed houses and buildings in the flood-stricken areas and also constructing the new buildings and helping those whose furniture has been destroyed.

IRGC chief elsewhere said that all of the relief teams including IRCG, Basij (Volunteer forces), Armed forces, Red crescent society and the representatives of the other organizations of Iran have contributed to help the people.

Unprecedented rainfalls in the past week have caused heavy flooding in the Jask Port, southern Iranian province of Hormozgan.
