Safed, north of the occupied territories, was targeted with 40 missiles fired by Lebanon's Hezbollah on Wednesday in response to the Israeli regime's attack on Lebanon.

Iran Press/West Asia: Yediot Aharonot confirmed the response and said that "approximately 40 rockets were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel Wednesday morning." 

The Israeli regime's army yet claimed that "some rockets were intercepted, while the rest landed in open areas, with no casualties reported."

Firefighters are currently working to extinguish fires caused by the rocket landings in the open areas, it added.

Hezbollah's operation came in response to the Israeli regime's aggression on South Lebanon and the Bekaa region on Wednesday morning. 

Casualties of Zionist regime attacks on southern Lebanon from Monday until today raided at least 558 martyrs, including 50 children, and more than 1,835 wounded according to the latest statement of the Lebanese Health Ministry.

After launching a genocidal war on Gaza of Palestine and killing more than 41,400 people, now the regime has directed its attacks toward the Lebanese territories.

The consular section of Iran's embassy in Damascus Syria was, targeted on April 1, 2024. Iran responded to the aggression on its territory with the punitive Operation True Promise, a missile operation.
