The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, in a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador in Moscow, emphasized the expansion of relations between the two countries.

Iran PressEurope: In this meeting, Alexander Novak described the regular talks between the high officials of Tehran and Moscow as trusting and stated that the Russian government is determined to comprehensively strengthen relations with Iran.

Novak also called the relations between the two countries dynamic and expanding and at a high level.

Also, Iran's ambassador to Russia in this meeting, said: "During the past year, the cooperation between the two countries has entered a new phase, which is characterized by the development of inter-provincial cooperation."

Referring to the economic delegations of the two countries, Kazem Jalali announced that the visit of private sector activists has grown significantly in recent months, which shows the interest of both sides in developing economic and commercial cooperation.

At the end of this meeting, Alexander Novak, who heads the Russian side of the joint economic commission of Russia and Iran, expressed his hope that the joint commission will be held during this year. 219
