Russia will launch a satellite on behalf of Iran into space on August 9, the Roscosmos space agency said on Wednesday.

Iran PressEurope: The spacecraft, a remote sensing satellite called "Khayyam" after Persian polymath Omar Khayyam (18 May 1048 – 4 December 1131), will be sent into orbit by a Soyuz rocket, Roscosmos said.
