Iran Press/ America: "We condemn any attempt by Israel to create new conditions on the ground, including the demolition of Palestinian homes and the confiscation of their property and land," Vasily Nebenzia told a Security Council meeting on Middle East developments Monday night.
He continued: "We will continue to contact and communicate with Israel and the Palestinians with the aim of resuming the peace talks."
The Russian ambassador added: "Israel's plan to develop settlements in the occupied Golan Heights threatens the stability of the region."
Referring to the Ukraine crisis, Nebenznia also stressed that talking about Russia's role in rising food prices is an attempt to divert attention from unilateral measures and sanctions imposed on Russia.
