Tehran (IP) - Amirhossein Ghazizadeh-Hashemi, presidential candidate for the election, says reforming the budget structure is a priority for Iran, and the government should control revenue and expense institutions.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with the Capital Market activists, and in response to Iran Press on reforming Iran's budget structure in his news presser, Amirhossein Ghazizadeh-Hashemi stated that the budget should be controlled regionally.

He noted that the rural-urban model was designed to be controlled in the regions instead of controlling the organizations' budget, which could be effective in reducing government spending.

Emphasizing that many organizations operating in small cities are not needed, he said that it is important to distribute duties to officials and provide services to the people.

Regarding the provision of subsidies to the people, he said: "One example is the plan to distribute education subsidy to the people, especially in the small cities, to eliminate discrimination in the quality of education in the country."

He told reporters and capital market activists that the market performance in the country must change.

Referring to the financial, monetary, insurance, and social insurance markets, he pointed out that since all markets affect each other, the official in charge of the administration's financial resources should form a council for them so that the markets don’t act independently.

Ghazizadeh also stressed that the duties, management, ownership, and role of the people in the Central Bank and other banks must be specified.
