Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said: “By prioritizing people's health, the government is also concerned about their economic situation and livelihood, and the resumption of necessary business activities should not lead to harm people's health.”
In a phone conversation with Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki on Monday, Hassan Rouhani received a report on the state of health on the third day of the Smart Social Distancing Plan and the resumption of business activities in the country's provinces.
"The implementation of the Smart Social Distancing Plan should not undermine the imposition of the necessary restrictions and oversight and control, and the implementation of health protocols should continue to reduce disease," he said.
Expressing satisfaction with the declining trend in the coronavirus/COVID-19 cases as well as deaths in the country's provinces, Iran's President reiterated the need to closely monitor the full implementation of health protocols in businesses and ordered that the relevant report be prepared daily and submitted to the relevant authorities.
Hassan Rouhani highlighted the need to encourage businesses that implement health protocols, ordering that necessary measures be taken in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, guilds and other agencies to encourage businesses that follow health protocols to maintain public health.
He reiterated his call for the people to stay at home and to avoid unnecessary traffic in the cities, stressing the need to continue the right path of information and persuading people to adhere to the slogan of "Stay Home".
Smart Social Distancing is implemented in the country under hygienic roles and protocols in order to cut COVID-19 chain and low-risk jobs have commenced their activities.
To make the Smart Social Distancing plan successful, cooperation and observing all Health protocols is a must and required by all walks of life.
