Iran Press/ Iran news: The 12th of Farvardin is called the Islamic Republic of Iran Day in the calendar of Iranians, and on the occasion, the "National Flag Day" celebration was held in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir- Abdollahian, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kannani, and the Mayor of Tehran, Alireza Zakani.
In the ceremony, Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, said: "The reason for the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran is Islam and relying on people."
He added: "Last year, efforts were made to distort Iran's independence for months, but the proper answer by people was given on the 22nd of Bahman."
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani, also emphasized: "Last year, in the field of foreign policy, despite the problems that were tried to be created for the Iranian nation, once again with the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, the people showed up on 22end of Bahman and acted wisely."
