Tehran (IP)- The President described the development of Tehran-Tashkent relations in the last two years as desirable and stated, "By exchanging the capacities of the two countries, the initial goal of bringing the level of exchanges to one billion dollars can be achieved".

Iran PressIran News: Early on Sunday, during the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new ambassador of Uzbekistan, described the development of Tehran-Tashkent relations in the last 2 years as desirable and stated, "Thanks to the Islamic Revolution and despite the sanctions, there are many capacities in the Islamic Republic of Iran that we can develop the relations even more by exchanging them and thanks to the mutual capacities of Uzbekistan and achieve the initial goal of bringing the level of exchanges to one billion dollars".

Referring to the visits, meetings, and talks between the Presidents of the two countries, the President emphasized the will of the heads of Iran and Uzbekistan to further develop relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan also called the Islamic Republic of Iran a reliable partner of his country in the region and noted, "Uzbekistan is interested in the comprehensive development of relations with Iran, and I have a mission to carefully and seriously follow all the axes of the road map for the development of relations between the two countries".
