Islamabad (IP)- Iranian Ambassador Dr. Raza Amiri Moghaddam met the Pakistani Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi at the Ministry of Interior. The Federal Minister welcomed the Iranian Ambassador on his arrival at the Ministry, today morning.

 

Iran Press/Asia: In the meeting, the Iranian President's visit to Pakistan was discussed and the final arrangements of the Iranian President's visit were discussed in detail, on the other hand, the proposed agreements during the Iranian President's visit were also discussed and the Ambassador informed about the details of the visit of the President of Iran.

On this occasion, Iranian Ambassador Raza Amiri Moghaddam congratulated Mohsin Naqvi on assuming the charge of Interior Minister and expressed his best wishes.

The Iranian Ambassador appreciated the performance of Mohsin Naqvi as caretaker Chief Minister and said that he completed the public projects at an extraordinary speed during the tenure of the Chief Minister.

In the context of the visit of the President of Iran, the Federal Interior Minister said that the visit of the Iranian President is very important in the context of the regional situation, the visit of the Iranian President will prove to be a milestone in the development of bilateral relations. He further said that we have to work together to solve terrorism and other challenges.

Appreciating Pakistan-Iran fraternal relations, Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan-Iran relations span decades and Pakistan highly values brotherly relations with Iran.

He added that there is a need to promote mutual cooperation for lasting peace and lasting stability in the region.
