Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in a message congratulating the country's national junior freestyle wrestling team on winning the championship in Jordan's world championships.
He stated, "I send my greetings to all the brave and strong athletes of our country, who with courage and intelligence prevailed over their opponents, and appreciate the hardworking players and coaches of the national junior freestyle wrestling team and ask God to continue their brilliance in the next competitions".
At the end of this message, Raisi stated: "I congratulate the great nation of Iran on this valuable success and I appreciate all the wrestlers, participants and coaches of the national youth freestyle wrestling team and I wish them continued success in other fields of wrestling field."
The Iranian freestyle wrestling team managed to snatch four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze medal in the U-20 World Championships to become the World Champion team of 2023. 219
